Very good prices. Always a good selection of films showing. It's clean and serves hot snacks as well as sweets. Local parking is free in the evening. Highly recommend
One of my favourite places to visit. Fortunately it is right on my doorstep, and very reasonably priced. Great value for money. Also I have fond memories of when I visited The Maxine every Saturday morning as a child for matinee performances. Great to see The Maxine being used and appreciated again.
Brilliant experience. Loads of leg room, comfy seats, great sound and i haven't even started on the price. It cost more for my drink than the film! 3.50 to watch a film in 2018 is just ridiculous.For me the only sadness is I live so far away otherwise I would be coming here regularly.Great place 1000% recommend.
Our first visit.Well designed cinema seating. Good view, leg room and comfy seats with drink holder. Selection of snacks etc. Helpful, friendly staff. Able bodied but the staircases would been a problem if had limited mobility. Good value, enjoyable night. Only downside endless adverts to sit through. Will arrive later next time. Definitely visit again. What Blackwood needed for families, a reasonably priced excursion. Great!!
Considering this is a small cinema its very popular with everyone in the area. There is plenty of parking around the cinema although you have to pay at certain time but most will walk there including myself as its in the high street. The tickets have recently gone up in price by a pound but still a lot cheaper than other cinema's. They show all the top movies. Screen 1 is the biggest room which is about the size of a standard cinema room and the rest are very small. All rooms have been fitted with leather seats so it's very comfy. The picture and sound of the movies are brilliant but as the rooms are so small you can hear all the noises coming from other viewers. The online booking system is very straightforward to use and I prefer this way as you can select your seats. The staff are friendly and the food and drink they sell are about the same price as other cinema.
